A recent job in Crewe: an Ideal Logic combi boiler that had become noisy. We opened it up, took the burner out and cleaned the burner and the heat exchanger. No parts were replaced. After the clean the boiler ran quietly again.

We check the boiler, controls, pump, diverter valve and pressure to find why it has stopped, not just reset it. - Low pressure and error codes
A boiler that keeps losing pressure or shows a fault code usually has a leak, a faulty pressure part or an air problem. We trace which. - Noises, leaks and cutting out
Banging or kettling, drips from the boiler, or a boiler that switches itself off are all things we diagnose on the visit. - Frozen condensate pipe
In cold weather the condensate pipe can freeze and stop the boiler. We clear it and make sure it does not happen again. - Pumps, valves and controls
Faulty pumps, diverter valves, thermostats and programmers are common causes of a boiler that runs but does not heat properly.

- Call-out, normal hours: £90
A repair starts with a call-out to find the fault. The call-out is £90 in normal hours. If the boiler is fixed during the call-out, you only pay for the call-out. If a part is needed, you are given a quote for it before anything is ordered or fitted, and nothing extra is done without your agreement. All prices include VAT.

Questions about boiler repair in Crewe
